- This is an Outstanding Chance for
- you to Practice your Capitals.
- Capital Letters are really called
- Upper Case letters Because in the
- Old Days, printers kept the Big
- Letters Way up on the Top of the
- Letter holding stand, in the Upper
- part of The Case. Lower Case
- letters were, Obviously, kept in
- the Lower Case. This is NO Joke.
- Or, at least, if it Were a Joke, It
- wouldn't be Funny. But it's Not.
- It's odd, but When We Were Young,
- we tended to call Upper Case
- letters "big letters", and lower
- case Letters "small letters". But,
- of Course, one can write Very Small
- upper case Letters or Very Big
- lower case Ones. Now that We Are
- Big People ourselves, we can Easily
- write Very Small big Letters.
- Letters used to be made in type
- foundaries. They were made of metal
- of various kinds, usually lead. I
- don't know if zinc was used or not.
- Zinc is a rather nice metal for
- some applications. Sliver, or, as
- it is usually called, Silver, is a
- rather nice metal too. It is not
- what we call a Heavy Metal. Uranium
- is a Very Heavy Metal. You may not
- know it, but Heavy Metal Music came
- about because some early Rock Bands
- used Uranium Guitars while at a
- zylophone concert at a zoo. The
- guitars, in Addition to being
- Very Heavy, were also RadioActive.
- RadioActive music is different from
- RadioPassive music, which does Not
- have the same activity. Changes in
- Various National Forms of Music
- may seem Strange now, but came
- about because of this Early form of
- Nuclear Power.
