  16. Capital Letters are really called
  17. Upper Case letters Because in the
  18. Old Days, printers kept the Big
  19. Letters Way up on the Top of the
  20. Letter holding stand, in the Upper
  21. part of The Case. Lower Case
  22. letters were, Obviously, kept in
  23. the Lower Case. This is NO Joke.
  24. Or, at least, if it Were a Joke, It
  25. wouldn't be Funny. But it's Not.
  26. It's odd, but When We Were Young,
  27. we tended to call Upper Case
  28. letters "big letters", and lower
  29. case Letters "small letters". But,
  30. of Course, one can write Very Small
  31. upper case Letters or Very Big
  32. lower case Ones. Now that We Are
  33. Big People ourselves, we can Easily
  34. write Very Small big Letters.
  35. Letters used to be made in type
  36. foundaries. They were made of metal
  37. of various kinds, usually lead. I
  38. don't know if zinc was used or not.
  39. Zinc is a rather nice metal for
  40. some applications. Sliver, or, as
  41. it is usually called, Silver, is a
  42. rather nice metal too. It is not
  43. what we call a Heavy Metal. Uranium
  44. is a Very Heavy Metal. You may not
  45. know it, but Heavy Metal Music came
  46. about because some early Rock Bands
  47. used Uranium Guitars while at a
  48. zylophone concert at a zoo. The
  49. guitars, in Addition to being
  50. Very Heavy, were also RadioActive.
  51. RadioActive music is different from
  52. RadioPassive music, which does Not
  53. have the same activity. Changes in
  54. Various National Forms of Music
  55. may seem Strange now, but came
  56. about because of this Early form of
  57. Nuclear Power.
  58.
